Why do so many people drink bottled water?

Some quotes from a solid article (Yahoo - Bottled Water: nectar of the Frauds?) on the bottled water phenomenom. I am just as guilty as anyone. The problem is that I've previously read about the ill effects of re-using plastic bottles. Glass is supposed to be better. And I'm not about to take a glass bottle with me to class. Regardless, after reading this article I'm thinking about reverting back to my old school ways of drinking from the tap.- "Americans drank 26 billion liters of bottled water in 2004, or roughly one eight-ounce glass per person every day"
