Just Do It, Lance

Even though Lance Armstrong is two years removed from his professional cycling career, he still remains one of my top four professional athletes of all time (along with Charles Barkley, Andre Agassi and Kirby Puckett).

This 2001 Nike commercial is one of the best I've seen. It plays on the fact that during his Tour de France dominance, he was the most tested athlete in the world. The last line is legendary Nike advertising.

What am I on? I'm on my bike...6 hours a day...busting my ass.

Disappointing that H. Walker did not make your top 4 athlete list. Walker is the epitome of the "natural athlete" that you praise. His weight routine only includes things that utilize the body's natural weight (no free weights). He is an olympic medalist, martial arts expert, and an all-american football player. He had a learning disability (dyslexia) and still managed to be valedictorian of his high school. He is an excellent model citizen. Yet - you have him behind Charles and Kirby. If showmanship, being a poor sport, and criminal records are part of the criteria to be a top athlete then by all means select Charles. I love Charles too, but when it comes to my 4 favorite athletes one has to excel in all aspects of life.

Are you referring to Hubert Walker, the oarsmen on the Princeton rowing team? He's a total physical specimen. And a great guy.
